Cuatro Cuatros was born in 2005 when we found the perfect place to develop a residential and touristic project near the sea and surrounded by our vineyards.

We knew that viticulture would be part of our essence and we decided to produce wines for cellaring. With the advice of engineers Juan Carlos San Germán and Juan Manuel Fernández, in 2007 we planted the first vines with grafted plants and 1103 rootstocks resistant to the drought and salinity of the area.

     For the reds we chose cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc, tempranillo and grenache - this variety is found in a small seasonal vineyard on one of the estates - and for white wine, sauvignon blanc, making us the only beachfront vineyard on the American continent.

We raised the first vintage in 2009 and since then our wines have been developed with the help of winemakers such as Hugo D'Acosta, Victor Torres Alegre and Horacio Reyner.

Currently, Cuatro Cuatros wines are made exclusively from grapes harvested in our vineyards. Our red wines are aged for 24 months in new French oak barrels and then for a year in the bottle before being released for sale.

Cuatro Cuatros' commitment is not limited to the production of whites, reds and rosés. We also produce Norteado, a wine fortified with mezcal Borroso, similar to port.

Made from grenache and merlot grapes, it is fermented in Seguin Moreau wood tanks and then "cut" with mezcal before being stored in new French oak barrels for four years. The result is so satisfying that you'll have to try it when you visit.
